Hi there!
First of all, please allow me to congratulate you on creating an extraordinary and versatile open source POS system!
I think I got myself into a bit of a pickle. While I am having several issues with the POS system which do not seem common, in the interest of an expedient resolution, I shall stick to one issue for now.
So, when you select a customer and tap in a product, then close out back to the main screen, that customer’s name appears in customer tickets…exactly as it should. Well, for some reason, when we enter that ticket and tender payment or void the product, the ticket button does not go away…not even after you close the work period and start a new one. This is causing a major issue, and any help is greatly appreciated!!!
Ok that issue is because it is not changing states properly. You more than likely accidentally messed up that flow. Did you change any Ticket Closing, or Before Ticket Closing rules?
Screenshots of the ticket after you pay for it would help. Be sure your in Administrator login and then take a screenshot of the paid ticket. You can press Print Screen button on your keyboard and then open up a reply here and press Control +V or right click and choose paste to insert your screenshot to the post.
PS: I updated your user permissions so you can post screenshots.
Thanks for the quick response!! I have modified a couple of rules in an effort to accomplish basic needs such as automatically printing a reciept when payment is tendered, however I removed those rules as they did not achieve the desired results (worth noting that the changes made were discovered on this forum). It is entirely possible that I zigged where I should have zagged and popped something in the wrong spot. Here’s the rules and the ticket process…sorry for all the images!!
That was it! The Update Available Entity Color rule custom constraint was different, which was probably done in an effort to get table statuses to update with different colors. Thanks for your help!!! I hate to seem like that guy, but these answers really help. I’ll be posting a couple more issues in a day or so, after making sure that I cannot find an existing solution on this forum. Thank you again for your help and hard work!!
