@emre this is an Idea of how we can buy one device that will broadcast caller id data to all stations.
Callerid.com offers a device that opperates on the network with tcp/ip. If instead of com port for generic device we had ip address that would let samba listen for a serial stream through an ip address our problems would be solved.
This way we could just set every station to listen to that ip for caller id information.
it would be even better if samba was able to know when another station already clicked on the popup so that it cancels automatically on all other stations but I assume that would be a huge amount of work on your part.
Maybe that could be integrated into the messaging server?
