Caller ID showing half of the number

Hi
I have installed the TRIXES usb caller ID , activated it in Putty it shows MESG , DATE, TIME and NMBR.
All correct but when i open sambapos the pop up only shows half of the number , so lets say my number is 012345-67890 the pop up shows only 67890.
I also noticed that the format of the number showing in putty is : #####-######

Another problem is when i restart pc nothing shows up, i have to re activate it in putty even though i added the AT+VCID=1 in sambapos.

You should be able to set the activate script/code oin one of the device fields in samba.

I would guess that your mask in samba is incorrect so only pulling that part of the number,

Thanks you @JTRTech for the reply, I’m not using any formatting mask, I used the normal Delivery sample that I downloaded form here , updated the entities and that’s it.
when I add a matching pattern it either gives me The first half of number instead of second or the MSG number

I have used that exact modem.

Go to the device properties in SambaPOS

In “Initialisation String” field, enter:

AT+GCI=B4
AT+VCID=1

(first line sets to UK, second turns on caller ID) I assume you are in the UK from the number format you showed but if not, just remove the first line.

In “Trim Chars”, enter +89

Try this first, then if you are missing part of the number, just increase/decrease the “Trim Chars” value.

Also, for the initialisaiton commands, it works fine like I mentioned but you can also set the initialisation string in Windows device manager for the modem, as well as setting the country (there will be a dropdown list to select from). Sorry I can’t give specifics as I don’t have a modem connected to my PC right now.
