Hi, Am using posbank apexa g, as pos device that has RJ11 PORT,
Can I use it as caller id module?
That’s a very specific question which is unlikely that anyone will know for sure.
If the modem supports caller ID supported by whatever caller ID device you use they most likely.
SambaPOS is a software and has little to say in wether your hardware is compatable. So long as your caller ID device can receive the incoming ID they most likely.
Your question makes no sense…
“Caller ID using ADSL Modem”
An ADSL modem is for broadband internet, it has nothing to do with phone calls and therefore will not have any caller ID functionality.
If your POS has a RJ11 port, that is for connecting a cash drawer. It has nothing to do with a modem. It is very unlikely a POS terminal would have an internal modem.
A modem would typically be a USB device that connects to your phone line. Something like this:

I was going with a guess the modem was one with a built in SIP gateway or something but rereading it it wasnt a model of modem but a pos terminal he was talking about :-/
Thanks for ua answers
