Can we email the database backup after being completed using the module to an email address ?
Yes you can. Search forum for email reports there are dozens of discussions on this. I have a step by step couple weeks ago even for emailing reports. It would work the same just select the database file instead of a report. However email client used needs to support zip files and sizes appropriately.
