Cash Drawer <XCT> issue, won't open type of drawer

Hi Samba Forum-
I was putting together an cash drawer open option. We purchased two new TMS cash drawers which have 12/24v RJ11 option for kicking the cash drawer. The XCT print template works fine with our old cash drawers, but it does not work on the new ones. I’m guessing it might be the pin configuration of the connector. All the printers are the same and the 27,112,0,25,250 method works fine. I tried 27,112,1,25,250 and 48/49 as well. Anyone have an idea. The hardware is listed below:

As mentioned the 27,112,1,25,250 works fine on our old drawers, but doesn’t do anything on the new ones.

Isn’t the kick code specific to the printer rather than drawer?
Check the driver/printer utility settings. Sure I have seen a drawer pip output option before on one utility.

Yes, the XCT code is for “sending a pulse” and 27,112 specifies the pulse function, the next number specifies the pin to send out the pulse on and the last two are for timing not exactly sure. Thats why I’m not sure if any of these suggestions will work. 27,112,0,25,250 works on the older drawers, so that tells me that its likely the new drawers pin configuration. If thats the case, I would need to change the connector on the drawer after I figure out the right pin to kick it. I’ve tried all the options below:

27,112,0,25,250
27,112,1,25,250
27,112,48,25,250
27,112,49,25,250

I have the same issue on this Tera Brand.

It works perfectly with printer built-in open drawer, but not with XCT code…just wont kick on followings:-
27,112,0,25,250

There are a ton more codes than just those I suggest looking up on google and trying until it works.

I posted an import file that creates a bunch of print jobs with different kick codes to test. See if one works.
