Is there a way to completely remove Merge Tickets button from the ticket list screen?
i dont think there is a way to completely remove the merge ticket button, but you can untick the merge tickets under permissions for each user role you dont want to use that button
@Jesse can this be separated in the future? Just like the Default Cancel, Move and Ticket buttons were made to be buttons?
You cant remove it.. but you can replace it. If you create a command and name it Merge Tickets you can use Header to rename that button. You can use Automation Command Executed to change what that button does if you replace it with the little trick i showed you.
EDIT: Ok so i was partially right.. I swear i used to use header to completely rename it. It seems if you use the name Merge in header you can indeed replace it. Merge Two or Merge replaces it. That probably doesnt help you though. You can also disable it through permissions.
I cant seem to do that, I tried calling the AMC Merge
, Merge Tickets
, Default Merge Tickets
and playing with Headers but it just creates a new button on that screen
I mean disabling it through user roles is an option but at the moment its just occupying that space on Ticket Listing screen by being disabled, while there are other 4 buttons + Close that serve a purpose
It would be nice to be able to completely unmap it like an automation command. I know this is really an obscure an edge case but basically, since it leaves empty invoices its a huge issue with local regulations where numbered invoices cant be completely empty without at least a void/gift order
On top of that – working on a custom implementation for a business with many outlets (restaurants / bars) which need a statement for all invoices on one entity – so have a need for a few buttons on there
