We are a family-run business owning 7 restaurants in California, and we use Dejavoo terminals for differen brand POS systems. While browsing the forum, I noticed that Dejavoo integration is available for the US market. At our first two locations, we use Linux-based Z9 and Z6 terminals, while the other locations have Android-based QD series terminals.
My question is, which Dejavoo terminals are fully supported by SambaPOS for the US market? Additionally, is there any fee for this integration, such as a monthly charge or transaction-based fee, gateway or something?
We need more information on this, as a few of my colleagues are also considering working with SambaPOS based on this integration.
We can’t support existing terminals unfortunately you must buy new terminals from us. There is a monthly gateway fee and a per transaction fee of .02 if you use your own processor. If you use our processor (TSYS) and we submit your application we can discuss waving the monthly gateway fee or reducing it and the extra .02 is waved. We will negotiate a competitive rate for you.
There is a one time deployment fee of 29.95
The gateway fee is 19.95/m
P1= $269 + tax and shipping
P3= $349 + tax and shipping
P5= $279 + tax and shipping
P8= $329 + tax and shipping
The P8 is an all in one handheld that runs Sambapos MC3 which requires a license.
Every device can be used as integrated pinpad to Sambapos including the P8 handheld. It can be used dual mode at same time as an all in one handheld with payments directly from mc3 or integrated pinpad to Sambapos.
All of these devices must be purchased and deployed through us or they will not work with Sambapos. If you are interested further please send me an email. We can discuss in more detail this way.
Thank you for your response. Before contacting you directly, I need a bit more additional information:
Regarding Dejavoo integration and the supported terminals (P1, P3, P5, P8), is it mandatory to purchase the devices only from you? If we already have the same terminal model from your supported list, can we use it?
Is the gateway fee calculated per location or per register? We have 7 locations and use 3 registers in each restaurant, making it approximately 21 registers across 7 different locations. Does this mean we would pay $19.95 per month for each of the 7 locations (7 x $19.95), or would we pay (21 x $19.95) all 21 registers?
What kind of support do you provide for Dejavoo terminals? For instance, during the checkout process in SambaPOS, is the payment amount automatically transferred to the terminal?
They must be purchased through us. We cannot use existing inventory on our gateway.
It is per terminal, however like Mentioned above if you go with our processor (TSYS) we will negotiate a competitive rate and wave the gateway fee.
It’s a seamless integration with full built-in ability to void payments from SambaPOS and it will correct the ticket if you make a mistake. Below is a video showing a P8 being used in 2 modes, Full handheld with mC3 and integrated terminal for SambaPOS. First half is MC3 handheld mode demonstrated is taking orders paying them, waiter restriction for not being able to order other waiter tickets, full payment, this is setup with a service fee so you can see that in the total on the device it closes the ticket with that fee added automatically.
Upon request we can turn on a QBO integration for your payments and it will integrate them into your Quick Books Online account. That is an added benefit of this integration. This is free.
