I created 3 departments, they are working good. When we are in stress, it is sometimes difficult to be sure in which department we are. My question is: it is possible to change text color or background color of departments name at the bottom of the screen? It would be good, for exemple green is for terrasse, red for restaurant. Switching would be easier.

Are you using V4? I dont use departments but as V4 will not be receiving any further updates if this is not currently possible it never will be in V4, you may need to look at upgrading to V5 where request posts are still possible.

Right now it is not possible in version 4 or version 5. You can make a feature request if you want to see it in version 5 however there are no guarantees it will be added. Typically Emre prioritizes features requested the most first.
