Does version 4.1.82 support MS SQL Server 2008 R2?

I’m installing a new POS with version 4.1.82, does it support MS SQL 2008 R2 Express? or has to be SQL Server 2012?

Theres a newer 2014 version, download and use that so youve got the latest software

my problem is that I have installed 2012 and windows updates took almost 6 hours after installation of SQL Server 2012 and the computer now is too slow. With the 2008 R2 version didn’t took so long. That is the reason I’m asking. I will try with 2014 also…

Pretty sure it doeswork with 2008, thats what i had installed at first before upgrading to 2014

SQL Express 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2014 are all supported in v4.1.82

There should be no reason not to use 2014.

Take the time now, and save time and headaches later.
