Is there a way to have a screen setup to show only the To-Go orders for each car coming through. So a order is entered I would want the drive-thru car to see the order items and total. Then when the next car begins to order, it would show their menu items. This would probably be similar to the customer display screen setup. Advertisements would be great too.
Yes its possible. You will need to create a custom Entity State flow for it. Something I am working on right now is an Entity State flow for To Go orders Study up on states. You can have Entity States, Ticket States, and Order States. States can use Group Codes, and you can make custom workflows for states. States can be read and used in rules/actions.
You can probably use a method similar to setting up a Pole Display for the cars to see. Look up pole display tutorials… you can adapt that to a screen for cars to see as order is placed.
