I posted this before in the ‘QUESTIONS’ category, but realized that there is a ‘REQUESTS’ category, so hopefully this would be something you can implement into the next release @emre.
Would it be possible to have an extra entry for the products and modifiers list to enable the printer templates to select the respective language.
The reason I’m asking is that for a Chinese restaurant, the chef’s are mostly Chinese and need to read the tickets in Chinese. However, there might be some waiters who are Western and cannot read Chinese and would need the buttons to show in English.
At the moment, I have got around this by using the “BARCODE” entry as the Chinese name, but it doesn’t work for modifiers. Can this be incorporated?
So that we can use the templates to decide on which language to use in different sections of the restaurant (bar, kitchen, pantry etc).
