End of Day Process


This is first time using SambaPOS.
I would like to ask about the End Of DAY process.
now when the restaurant is going to close and i need to shutdown the POS. is there any End of Day process required to do ?
Can i got small summary report when making end of day ?

Just End Work Day period and then go to REPORTS, you’ll find everything you need over there.

Sales, Type of Payments, Orders Count… everything.

There are end of day records for inventory adjustments if your tracking inventory. Other than that what Sabata said is all you need. Be sure and close work period.

I setup a work period report print action on a work period ended rule so it automaticly prints a work period report, find people are more comfortable with this workflow as it resembles what you would have had when doing a z reading on an older tickertape style till.
