Figures not matching on Report + Shortages & Excess issue

Hi all,

I’ve been running SAMBA POS around two weeks now (two POS connected to single SQL database), and it’s been working great on most areas.
But i always encountered Big cash Shortages / Excess issue (around 5-10% of sales) which i’ve never had before when i’m using cash register.

I’m trying to find the core problem, so couple days ago i’m using my old cash register again and the daily cash count was great.
On the next day, i’m trying to use SAMBAPOS again and i’m having big cash excess again .
I’m pretty sure all of my employees was fully trained to use SAMBAPO3S, and this issue also happens when i’m the only one who use the POS.

Yesterday, i tried to look at the daily reports i had and i found out that the figures on the user sales is not match.
All the employees will do the daily cash out based on this user sales report. So this figures makes us confused.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Best,
Kelvin

OK Kelvin. Let’s proof calc these numbers

  • Nur made 11.956.500,11 sale.
  • Sri made 8.211.000,15 sale.

When we sum both it makes 20.167.500,26.

  • Nur Settled 11.783.500,15 Cash
  • Sri Settled 8.234.000,11 Cash

Wen we sum both Cash payments it makes 20.017.500,26.

When we subtract 20.167.500,26 (users sold) from 20.017.500,26 (users settled) 150.000 remains.

If you look on top of the report you’ll see there is still an unpaid ticket with 150.000 amount. The difference is there…
