Hi I am trying to access to the server where my database is located. BUt I have just found out the reason why my Tills can not connect. Something is being stopped by my firewall. I would like to know what programs/ Features I have to let through to get my tills up and running.
Do a google search for enabling SQL server with windows firewall. Or just turn it off to test your theory. If turned off and they still don’t connect then check and make sure the SQL Server Browser windows service is running.
