GDPR Data Protection Plan


Not a SambaPOS subject but was curious if any other europe based people had started putting plan together for the new GDPR data regulation thing?
Although saying that is you use customers in Samba then I guess it is relevant to Samba…

it was more for other people as they may be not aware of new GDRP data legislation in EU.


For most the difference is the need for active opt in (no ticket by default newsletter).

My main concern is the existing list, one hotels website provider is insisting existing subscribers need to resubscribe on a compliment form…
That will guaranteed cut the list to probably 20-25% at least which is a kick in the nuts
