GloriaFood UK Demos?

Good evening,

I have been asked by a prospective client to show some GloriaFood UK ordering websites.
Anybody have any examples I could use?

Thanks!

I found a couple sites from the GloriaFood testimonials page:

https://www.katiwok.co.uk/
https://usadidcot.com/

Great thanks I missed the links in the testimonials the first time :+1:t2:

Just create your own demo, it won’t take long and can be used time and time again.

I already have one that I had set up but I couldn’t find, in any short order, a link to the front end of it!
I will take another look. Am not sure if it is because I did not log into it for X period of time as it was emailing me each day about the restaurant being offline and then I stopped receiving those emails.

If you go to menu setup

You’ll then be able to preview the menu as it would look

Thanks guys I went to the editing bit and then copied the link from the site logo and opened it in a private browser.
I think I will use the demo site from GloriaFood and a couple of their testimonial ones until I get time to set up my own demo. I seem to have originally set it up with burgers and salads which show options for the burgers but I’d like to add Pizzas in there with toppings etc. and it doesn’t seem to add arbitrary ones in for the demo so I’ll have to sit and type them up or maybe if I create a new demo and add Pizzas to it at the start they will populate with the options and extras… we shall see!

Any tips on pricing this thing up? I think I’ve got the hang of most of it but not had to open an app developer account with Apple before, so wondering what to factor in for that? Simply for getting a customer’s app published in the store.

GloriaFood you can white label as your own, sign up as a partner then you will get 20% discount on all fees once you have 5 restaurants using paid services. You can then price your product however you want to your customers.

Regarding app, GloriaFood app is very expensive ($59 per month if I remember correctly) for just a basic wrapper style app. You would be good to research some app builders yourself and look into building your own wrapper style app - yes more effort but there is more profit for you ongoing.

Regarding Apple developer account - techincally each restaurant should have their own Apple developer account - this is due to a recent change where Apple want developer account company name to match that of the app (and really as with everything Apple, just so they can make more money  ). However from experience, you can open one under your company name, unofficially you will be able to publish between 20-50 apps for your customers before Apple come after you for separate accounts.

But if you want to account for the Apple developer account, make sure you account to charge each customer £79 per year for this within your pricing.

ah OK so I need to allow the customer to pay the prices shown on Gloria web site? I take it they need to pay in dollars then?

No. Gloriafood has 2 models you can use as a reseller - affiliate or resell.

Affiliate means your customer pays gloriafood directly in $ (although still white labelled) at the prices they quote, and you earn 20% commission on everything once you got 5 paying restaurants.

Resell means you bill your customer whatever you want to for the services in £ and then each month you pay the gloriafood fees (that will be 20% cheaper for you once you have 5 paying restaurants).

I’d recommend resell model unless you have some compelling reason not to.

I see yes I would agree that the resell model sounds better. I’ve quoted the guy in $ for now and will see what he says.
Cheers.
