Well, I installed SQL 2014, started SQL, it connected to Samba.
Connection string is a SQL server term itâs not a Sambapos syntax. Itâs basic networking for connecting to a SQL server. Itâs the same for any program trying to connect to SQL server.
I disagree itâs very easy to find information in search for connection string issues. It sounds to me like your digging for reasons NOT to use Sambapos. Thatâs fine just donât expect forum members to help much if your conveying that feeling.
You can choose to take our advice or not itâs up to you. The best advice is to search the forum and look at tutorials. Itâs a fact the information is there and your not unique to the other people.
I have same issue, sambaposv5 and no luck to find in my whole drive the sambasettings.txt even I have turned on to show hidden files
@eadauto Go to C:\ProgramData\SAMBAPOS\
u will see sambaPOS5 or sambaPOS4 go in to the folder delete SambaSettings.txt
Please make sure you enable âshow hidden folders and filesâ in folder option otherwise you wont be able to find âProgram Dataâ
