How can we add one more button for discount in $ not in present %
For example need two Button for discount

  1. [Discount%] 2.[Discount $]

Copy rate discount and change type to fixed amount and create a calculation selector for it…

Thanks for this method but here is a little confusion according to your given method.

My total amount is----------------------------------- 400
Service Charges 5% apply ----------------------- 20
Total Bill is------ -------------------------------------- 420
Now i want discount 100 from Total amount then

Then it should be remaining amount is--------300
Service Charges 5% apply----------------------- 15
Now my exact bill is-------------------------------- 315

But by your method it show 320 after discount 100

Try reordering the calculations do discount is above service charge.
Or discount 105 :stuck_out_tongue:

Try the plain total option on service charge, plain total on template is bit like subtotal if I remember right.
Hmm sorry its plain sum, might not be the same…
Maybe change discount to fixed from ticket total rather than just fixed.

If your wanting it to look like that on the screen its impossible. If you want it to look like that on printout then its possible with expressions to do your own math instead of using the printer tags.

Typically SubTotal is before any calculations or discounts… Balance is typically after those.

Do you live in an area where those words are used different?

I guess that’s irrelevant.

@Jesse i think I can not explain what I want… my basic question is Service charges should apply on Ticket Total after discount like 400 is ticket total i give 100 discount from it so remaining amount is 300 now service charges 5% should apply on 300 not at 400… in this way 5% service charges is 15 not 20 that Samba is giving.

Sorry my English is week that’s why i cant explain…

Couldn’t fully understand the issue but one of them should solve your issue.

  1. Change calculation method of service charge as “Rate from Previous template amount”.
  2. Enable “Include Tax” setting for service charge.
