I can't access to Samba

OK Sorry I thought you can’t connect with SQL Manager. Try this.

  • From start menu navigate to SambaPOS > Samba Data.
  • It will display a folder. (C:\ProgramData\SambaPOS\SambaPOS4)
  • You’ll see SambaSettings.txt file there.
  • You can manually edit this file to change connection string.
  • Or you can move this file to somewhere else (with backup file) and restart sambapos to generate default settings file.

Please keep backups of all files you modify in case of you need to rollback something.

Hi @emre, I have reinstalled SQL and SAMBA again and later I have moved these files that you mentioned (so the folder is empty), but I can’t restart SAMBA.The system warning about the error and close itself another time.

I can connect to SQL Manager.Actually I can see several folders there. But the problem the program remember any file more, because the system seems remember my error and I can’t access more to SAMBA.

Also,the soft creates a new settingfile. I’ve tried to modify the code with my Servername (TERMINAL1BAR) and SQLocalDb(SAMBA4),but nothing. It is remembering the login, because before reinstallation I filled up a user/pass to test another way.

I tried to upload the txt but is not possible. I copy-paste

<?xml version="1.0"?>8080Data Source=(TERMINAL1BAR)\SAMBA4; Database=Samba4false
<style type=‘text/css’>
html
{
font-family: ‘Courier New’, monospace;
font-size: 11px;
}
</style>enfalsefalse10000falsefalsefalsetrue

Is there any other place with this type of files? THX

When the error comes up just change it within the error then restart
