If my computer breaks or is completely damaged, how can I recover my Samba data?

It depends entirely on the state of your drive. If that’s ok your data should be ok.

I’m guessing you don’t have a backup?

we use this https://sqlbackupandftp.com/
connect your gdrive or online ftp and make an scheduler to auto backup.

The computer was lost in the floodwaters.!!!

Drives shouldn’t leak so take it to someone who knows what they’re doing so they can see if it’s salvageable.

When you are back up and running, set up a backup routine, offsite and/or online.

IF U CAN HELP ME

This is the connection to your live database. The backup location is set under Database Backups near the bottom of the Settings tab.

I would set it up to save a local backup then use Google drive or Dropbox (or your choice of online storage) to synchronise your data. This will upload a copy to the cloud. You must think about security of your data before doing this though. For me it’s just sales data so I’m ok with it being in the cloud. There maybe more secure options out there, it just depends on what you want.

The database changes daily whenever we add a new daily work report. How can I automatically save the data files to Google Drive on a daily basis?

This image shows the data being saved to the documents file.
