In transaction document buttons are disabled

I cannot add new items to the stock, since in editing transaction document the buttons are disabled. I have added a screen shot ofit

Few days back I Have added 2 items. But now the buttons (circled in red) (in the screen shot) are disabled…

The Workperiod needs to be Open to do Inventory Transactions.

Adversely, the Workperiod needs to be Closed to update End of Day Records.
