Jetrik Standard questions

We are currently using Jetrik QR Menu for our guests to see the Online Menu. I uploaded originally the whole Menu from Samba to Jetrik so I would not have to add every single Menu item in Jetrik again, which worked fine.

However, since that upload, we adjusted the Jetrik menu quite heavily with changed descriptions and different Menu item names (partially different then in SambaPOS as in SambaPOS I need Thai language for my kitchen staff) and also moved a few of the items from one category to another for the guests to make it easier for them to find.

So far so good, guest can see the new Menu as we designed it in Jetrik. However, now we want to go the next step and let the guests actually order directly from their phones via Jetrik… I know we need to upgrade from Jetrik QR Menu to Jetrik Standard, but I want to know before we do the upgrade how these now different Menus can be matched?

  1. Is there in Jetrik Standard something like a Mapping Feature, so I can map my menu items in Jetrik to the corresponding SambaPOS product?
  2. How does it work with different portions?
  3. Will these orders once they are properly integrated with SambaPos come out on my KDS like it does when I place an order from MC3? (We have at the moment 2 KDS, 1 in the kitchen, where only ordered food is displayed and a second one in the Beach Bar, where ALL items from an order are displayed… which works just fine with our current set-up including MC3)…

Sorry to be so long winded, just want to make sure what we plan will actually work.

Yes you can map your products in Jetrik Panel. But not portions for now.
And your orders will successfully integrate with SambaPOS and KDS.

Thank you for getting back to me and ok on the mapping.

On the portions issue, how can we overcome this? We have many Thai dishes were it’s the same dish but we use the portions for the different proteins to use like chicken, pork, beef, shrimps, vegan etc… as depending on the protein the price also changes…

Do I need to create then one menu item in Jetrik for each of these or one menu item each in Samba? Bit confused how to manage this easily and make it easy for the guest to choose..

Same issue we have with Liquors, as guests can choose the liquor (like Jack Daniels) and then make a mix with either coke, tonic, soda, juice, etc… also different prices and we use the portions for that…

Why didnt you use OrderTags for this.

Well, I assume because we link our recipes (as each change in protein for example needs the recipe to change for our inventory) via different portions and to be honest I don’t know how we would achieve that via Order Tags… So, the easiest way for us was to create them as different portions.
