KDS - Not Syncing Group Type (Code) to KDSAdmin

When sending the SambaPOS menu to KDS, Group Codes (Types) of “INVENTORY” Products are not sent to the KDS display in the KDS Admin Portal so the KDS cannot display those orders on the tickets.

To get these Group Codes / Types to SYNC.

  1. Add a generic item to the “PRODUCTS/Products List” with the desired group code that needs to be sent to the KDS
  2. logout and back into SambaPOS
  3. resend the Menu to Samba KDS
  4. Login to the KDSadmin and select the desired KDS and the group types should now be available.
