Hi, i have a windows tablet which has been set up to take orders on while we taking phone orders on main pos. But now we dont use it as often so wanted to know if i can make that into kitchen display for orders?
Yes you can, you can create a custom entity screen to manage your dockets and your orders.

How do i set up the window tablet so it gets recognised as a printer?
You don’t need to do that for the purpose of showing Kitchen Display. Just use the windows tablet as a terminal. Follow the solution suggested by Posflow above and it should work.
