License issue need resolved fast

I updated from 5.7.8 to the newest version and now I can’t sign back into my license? Not sure how to proceed?

Had to convert back to 5.7.8 as I could not get the license to work on 5.7.24. Now that I’m back up and running in time for.my lunch rush I’ve searched the forum a bit. Do I have to run the License.exe file or should doing it within Samba Market accomplish the same thing?

Run licence.exe or activate it via SambaMarket.
Both methods perform the same process.

Please share the error message here.

There was no error message… did the license through Samba Market and it said it was successful (but not like before when it lists the steps its going through) and when I reopen Samba I still get ‘Unregistered Trial”. Tried several times clearing the License and redoing but same outcome every time.

Did you try restarting the messaging server?

I tried that today but no luck. I didn’t notice yesterday but today I got a “messaging server connection error” everytime I started Samba. Then I noticed the port that’s set on messaging server within SQL is 9000+ but the port I use on Samba is 8383 ?? Tried to change the SQL port to 8383 but everytime I reopen it, it converted back to 9000+ ?? Yet through all of this, I’m still connected?
