I am looking for Sambapos 5.3.6 setup file. The main database POS is using this version and I want to setup 2nd computer as POS but I can only find latest sambapos version 5.7 to download.
I downloaded and installed 5.7 but its is not opening after installation.
5.7.X is very stable. A lot of customers use it for a long time.
We dont provide old versions.
Do you have any error ? If you give me error log i can help you.
The main DB POS is already up and running on ver5.3 so will secondary POS run on ver5.7?
No you cant do that. Why you are trying to use like that ?
While installing 5.7.X it makes a lot of migration in db.
If you use different versions in same time this makes SambaPOS inconsistent

In that case how can I upgrade my main POS from 5.3 to 5.7
If you install new version it will automatically upgrade your DB. Thats all. If you get any error you can ask me.
