MC3 with SQL Server 2014?

Has anyone used the latest version of MC3 with SQL Server 2014?

I have a potential customer who has existing hardware that unfortunately is running Windows 7. Upgrading to Win 10 or above is not an option at the moment, but I have got the latest SambaPOS v5.7.22 working on Windows 7 with SQL 2014 without issue for a few customers.

I cannot see it mentioned anywhere the minimum SQL version for MC3 other than to use the latest version. My understanding is it should work fine with SQL 2014 unless it is utilising any of the JSON query features that were introduced in SQL 2016 onwards.

If anyone is using MC3 with SQL 2014 successfully or if someone can confirm if there is a minimum SQL version required that would be great, thanks!

I think the mobile client interacts with SambaPOS solely via the GQL API so you should be fine.
