hello everyone
i tried following steps for installing samba pos from sql setup and messaging server tutorial but i keep getting two errors
1- while testing the message server connection,it fails sending request like i shown on screen shot
2-in the sambamarket store,i dont find the activation button as shown on screenshot.
Hello @Jesse
I followed all the steps, with message server connected,I run the licencing app,and it logs in and displays licence successfuly installed
I restart message server, and open samba but still in demo mode
Need help
Do you mean in the terminals?
If not the main computer which samba is running message server is installed, running and connected. And I even restarted it after installing licence but it never activates samba
I did not install message server on terminals though the terminals communicate well with server,
The big problem is activation even after running licence app on the root directory
It prompts login successful, licence installed successful, but on the app still remains in demo mode
Hello
Sorry was out of work for some reasons but am back so I couldn’t do it in time.
I downloaded sambapos today,re installed it,I run licence.exe and it prompted licence successfuly installed then,I restarted messaging server service,I then restarted samba but it was still in Demo mode/unregisterd trial
I even tried to restart computer but had the same issue.
What was new to me,is that,as I restarted the computer,it popped up a connection string error,
The error disappeared as disconnected my internet.
I wonder if this has something to do with activation
Can you show a screenshot of your message server settings on the server. The local settings > Message Server. Also what license email are you registered as?
We need to clarify a few things. 1. you have internet connected is that correct? 2. Can you use the servers IP address instead of localhost please. 3. you ran the license.exe after connecting the server to message server right? and you ran it while you have active internet connection?
