I would like to ask if it’s possible to alter / modify the daily work period / item sales report or even monthly report?
I need to reduce the number of sales significantly , e.g.: there are sales tickets no. 1,2,3,4…100…
Can we just produce report let say all the odd numbers? 1, 3,5,…99?
I know what I’m asking might be illegal . Why I need to create this is because the place that I live, majority or 90% will do “undertable”. That mean they report the sales much lower than it should be. And is very common practice here, even my tax consultant suggest me to ask my programmer to create auto double sales report like most of his client does. So I’m checking if Samba POS able to do this?
The funny thing is that even if you pay 100% the taxes, if the person in charge don’t get any “undertable” money they will still find problem with your business…
I cannot charge customer restaurant tax as well, as in my city the people are super stingy , almost all restaurant never put the tax to their bill otherwise ppl will runaway, except those in the malls.
Natively, SambaPOS will not help you to do things that are illegal such as reporting partial sales amounts. It is designed to be accurate in tracking these things so you can see how your business is performing.
You cannot change the built-in Reports in v4, but you can create your own using Custom Reports Module, and/or using SQL to query the Database directly to manipulate data however you want.
I understand your scenario, but SambaPOS will never do these things for you. Instead, you will need to create your own back-end reporting and while the Custom Reports can be used for this, the real power will be found with SQL.
Please do not ask for assistance for this here in the forum, and do not PM me to ask for help. Suffice it to say, youcan do this, if you are capable of writing SQL, but you should not seek assistance here.
