They simply want to buy on a Credit…

Customer walks in buys on credit, the cashier can pull up the customers account and place the order under his or her credit account to pay month.
Can one still be able to do end of day?
Can one still be able to do End Work period while those tickets are open?
you just need to use customer accounts, so set each person up and activate it. then when paying select the account payment option and this will add the total to their account and pay the ticket (which will allow you to close and do end of day)
at month end just go into their account and add the payment
Use Customer Search entity screen, create a new customer, put in the orders, settle on customer account. You can later credit the account with any type of payment.
