Hello all, long time no see. I guess ill be here a little bit soon cos I have been given a project.
My friend is opening Soft Play Centre and he is wanting a till on the Door, the main cafe and a back office system.
I know Samba can do this and I know I can get it done but I need to know a couple of questions.
Do I need a license for each till/computer?
Can they all use the same database? <- if this is a yes then that pretty much covers all other questions I may have if not.

Multi-terminal setups use the same Database.
The V5 license is per-database, so you only need to buy 1 license for “unlimited” terminals.
Lots of people use Mag Cards and they work very well with SambaPOS. They basically emulate keyboard input.
