I installed the sample database for sambacard as instructed. After restarting as per instructions it showed the following error and not working. the pos is not opening. pls help. my restuarant billing has stopped. my pos is live.

Its pretty much saying it cant find the CE database file I think.
Where did you put the file you downloaded?
It would need moving to the SambaPOS4 folder in my documents.
NOTE that if you are live you will have your existing database in place so be sure to not just overwrite that…
That is if you were using CE before which guess you were for that to say it like that, another point is highly recommend against using CE, would defiantly look to upgrade that to SQL either LocalDB or Express.

Just delete everything in that box click OK and reload
@JTRTech when I first used samba and I also followed a tutorial and it is written in a way that makes you think you add that file name I to the database string.
Deleting the string written above will revert it back to the original database

Yes but a file name means nothing without a directory, hence putting the file in the default location in Samba folder
