No activation Button

Hello everyone I just installed the V5 pro and used the back up from my other computer running sambapos but I can’t see any activation link on sambamarket. Can any one help please.
I have bought new license but cannot put the information anywhere.

Hello @Ambrosia_Ind_Res

You can handle the license activation process of SambaPOS V5 Pro by manually running the Licensing.exe file which is found in the main folder that SambaPOS is installed in.

Before the activation process you had better have a look at the below source for further tips;

@Nizam can we get the Licensing.exe added as a start menu shortcut in future versions? It used to be added by the installer but have noticed on the recent few versions the shortcut is no longer added. Will make life a lot easier for non-technical people!

Thank you @Nizam found it. Was scratching my head as it used to be in the samba market but not any more. I just have one more question if you could help. I am trying to print the docket with just the entity name but not the entity type. Is it possible.
I have tables named as Docket1, Docket2, Docket3 but when I print the docket it comes as Table: Docket1 but it’s for take away I don’t want the Table entity to show. Is there a way to do it.

Could you just edit the print template and remove the ‘Table’ section?

Hello @markjw

I forwarded your request to the development team they said that they will be applying the necessary changes regarding it.

That’s great! I’m sure many will benefit from being able to access licensing.exe easier.
