As we know Gloria is shutting, was a wonderful commission free offering for us, while searching found cloudwaitress.com, which is also commission fee online ordering system however they charge flat fees for hosting etc per month after free 100 orders. have tried it and already using it. is there any plan for integration for this service? how many looking for alternative option, any other recommendations ?

I posted the script I use for my system. I do not use an entity screeen at all with it. I just use the POS likee normal but when online orders come in the tickets pop up. You definitely could create your own integration between SambaPOS and Cloud Waitress using their API based on the prototype GloriaFood integration script Emre wrote years ago if you have the skills, however keep in mind that script was intended as a demo / prototype of what is possible in a single node.js script, so it definitely isn’t designed to be the most efficient solution to use in a production setup (for one, it doesn’t have any error handling if you run it as a windows service).

I don’t know if Cloud Waitress provides their API for free or it’s at an additional cost. Note to use the SambaPOS GraphQL API in SambaPOS v5.5+ you will need to purchase the “GraphQL - SambaPOS API User License” from https://cp.sambapos.com/ and add it to the same account you have your SambaPOS license on.

Personally I’m not a fan of Cloud Waitress but I think functionally they are probably good. For me enquiring to them about 6 years ago as a potential reseller partner, they seemed mostly interested in wanting to “scam” resellers by charging a very high partnership fee for “onboarding” (if I recall was something like $4,000 USD) and claimed it was “to only deal with those who are serious”. I personally won’t get involved in a partnership that requires up front payment to that level as it should be of mutual benefit to both parties and I just walked away at that stage. Maybe they changed now - I don’t know. This is my personal opinion.
