Points for the total of the ticket

Hi

I am looking to do a rewarded base on the points earned by the customer, for example I would like to give the customer £10 discount for each 100 points he earn.

The point system should be based on the total of the ticket for example it the customer spend today £23.30 he should earn 23.30 points add to the points total.

any tutorial showing this?

yes exactly that is why I wrote: “this will give you an idea…”. I dont think anybody has implemented such a procedure until now… so perhaps you will get a lot of help with ideas… there is more than on way to solve a situation…
