Hello, I just Want To Ask If There is a Way to Prevent Product Duplicated in the Bill just increment the Qty
of the product and the total of the bill with out adding Duplicated Product
Im assuming emre did this for a reason. If you press the number 3 then the product, it will show them together. If he automatically made it combine like your requesting, it would break our flow tremendously when were trying to add different order tags for each. Just train your employees to press the number first then product. They can also use the + to add quantity.
Yep, think its in ticket settings theres an option to merge lines, or maybe in display settings im not at PC but the setting is there… Somewhere
That’s in the Printer Template.
There is setting in V5, not sure about v4, Program Setting->Ticket Setting->Merge Ticket Lines
This setting will merge order screen ticket lines after order submited but only the order that submit the same time (not with previous order).
I was trying To Merge Lines when I Make The Order But I guess there is No Option Like This Thank you
Hey @emre from what I’ve seen with some high end POS systems when the order tags are all the same it will automatically split the orders into one order with increased quantity. These systems also have a order line separate button for which when you press it, these quantity of orders will be automatically split into individual orders so you can change the different order tags on each. When a new order is added or when you go to a payment screen it will automatically update and merge all orders when the order tags are the same. Could we get something similar to this implemented, I know it might be a big overhaul but considering I reckon it could be done in automation it would be a cool feature to have built into samba
Sambapos does merge order line if you enable but when you click submit. you will see they merge when you open ticket after submit.
But split order line I don’t see why would you want to do that. Why select x quantity when not all of them are the same.
It only merges on close as dont forget merge is only possible is tags etc are all the same.
If not this would happen.
add 1 x Burger -> Tag no cheese
add second 1x Burger
This would then become 2x Burger with tag no cheese.
or if you just add 1 x Burger
then add seccond burger but want to tag second no cheese you wouldnt be able to as you would only be able to select the line 2x Burger

If options enabled and tags etc are the same they would merge on printed tickets and on screen once closed.
