im having server and two terminals both are connected in same network with two printers one is network printer and working probably and the the other one is USB printer it had been shared through the network , and it print self test from the other POS which have network printer , since i add the USB printer to the other POS via network but when i want to print a print job to that print in not print , can you guys help me in this ??
Show your printer setup for that terminal that cant print the print job.
On the terminal you have to have that printer mapped. It should just connect to the printer via printer name.
You just want to have the printer name of ‘kitchenpcz’ rather than the shared address.
No in the Printer/Port field on the printer settings

You have to map the printer in your pc first by adding a networked printer.
i already add it in my PC as network printer and i can print test print
Not the pc it’s hooked too. I mean the other pc.
yah it share to the other PC and i can print from it
The way its setup is
database server on the first floor Server
We have the main computer pos terminal T1 connected with a network printer
we have the kitchen computer terminal T2 connected with a USB printer
we wanted to print from the main computer terminal to the kitchen usb printer
what we did is we shared it to that main computer terminal T1 using network printer then we print test page is working fine from T1 with USB kitchen printer after we added the printer to the samba main computer terminal T1 and assigned it as you see on the screen shots its not printing
what you advise us to check or where we go to see the logs
You assigned it wrong. It should let you just select it from printer names if you mapped it correctly. It would show up in the drop down as just another printer.
\\POSCORNERT2\kitchenpcz is wrong if you mapped it correctly then kitchenpcz printer should just show up in dropdown.
so we will use only kitchenpcz as the port name if we can print test page then we should be able to print from samba i m sure its some thing with our samba configuration
by the way we using the close button automation to print to the kitchen
You should see your printer in the dropdown box to select. If you dont then you mapped it wrong.

Can you show this? That could mean a bunch of things.
When a customer orders then the waiter hit close to send the orders to the kitchen display but we wanted that also to print to the kitchen printers
