Printer is not working with MC3

when i put logo in invoice ticket printer is not working with MC3

The printer must be Ethernet and it must have logo loaded in memory on the printer. You should have it installed locally to the terminal assigned to the tablet.

Sambapos database speed is very slow sometimes all terminals with MC3 is not working stuck in loading and when i open sambapos in server all other terminals and client pc sambapos goe down.

This is not normal. What is version of sambapos and what is specs of your server.

Sambapos 5.7.10

Maybe you’re running low on memory. 4g is not much.

Does printing work in MC3 without the logo?

Can you let us know exactly what you mean when you say “go down”? Like does it crash with an error, or becomes “not responding”, or something else? If you can describe exactly then we can understand what you mean because “go down” could mean so many things…

I believe you that something is happening, but it must be something very specific because our merchants are not complaining of this happening, and we have a lot of merchants using MC3 with no reports like this. You must give us more details so we can help identify your issue.

All we can do right now is guess. You can also send an email to help@sambapos.com to create a ticket we can track. Please though be specific with what is happening. We need screenshots, etc so we can understand.

I have 1 server 1 client desktop and 2MC3.
When i open simbapos in server system sometimes it crashes and sometimes it works very slow open table or open report or open anything in simbapos it takes very long time and at the same time all other devices are very slow and Sometimes SQL Server doesn’t work and needs to be restarted.

That really sounds like your hardware just cant support it. 4 gigs of ram is not much. What else is running on this server? What type of harddrive is it? 5400 rpm?

Printer problem is solved

When i look up that CPU its a mobile CPU version those tend to be lower powered units and do not make the best server setup for SQL server or SambaPOS. My guess is your harddrive is also not a very fast one. Is your server a laptop? Your haddrive may be a very slow 5400 rpm drive if so and this would explain it.

Yes server is laptop

I would be willing to bet your harddrive is a 5400 very slow harddrive and 4gig ram with a mobile processor is the reason your getting such slowdown. That is not a good setup for running SQL server and SambaPOS. I would recommend you upgrade to something slightly more robust but the harddrive and ram is the crucial point.

We do not recommend running multi terminal server setup with a lower end laptop as the server.

For the benefit of others having a similar issue and may find this thread, please share with us the solution.
