Gentlemen has anyone ever used a slip printer? I have a epson tm H6000II and prints blank page.

Yes, print Document from notepadā¦ but not in text formar in sambaposā¦

The spec doesnāt state it is compatible with ESC/POS, so if you can print from Windows (i.e. notepad) you may only be able to use Windows Printer, HTML or Document Printer formatting in SambaPOS.
Actually what is your intention with using this printer on SambaPOS? I would imagine the thermal receipt printer part would work fine, but are you intending to use the check and endorsement printer functions as well? If so, I donāt know if they will be compatible with SambaPOS. But if they show up as separate printers in Windows, I donāt see why not. Check scanning wonāt be compatible though, I would guess that needs specific software.

Yes it is. I print the bill with receipt and set Printer Type : ESC/POS emulated and all is ok.
but I nedd to print a bill with the slip.
in this case the print start but the paper is blank. I test connection with Epson tool and itās ok. I tried to print a .xps doc and the result is a paper blank, But if I print a web page or a bloc note the print is ok.
I found this on google , It may be the solution ?. But I do not understand anythingš

@Michel_Aimonino good to hear you got it working now. However your solution you posted above doesnāt appear to be related to sambapos so might be confusing to other forum members. Maybe you could post more specifically how you got it working with sambapos?

For print ticket sambapos use notepad or pdf ? Itās maybe this the reason that does not workā¦

I set the name of printer for slip print. and ESC/POS emulated

Then I set the Printer Type to Text ( I Tried HTML/WIndows Printer)
And come out the page without text

I think so. Now I have to find a way to automatically print the bloc notes. do you think it is possible ?
No idea I donāt use that printer. Try and see.

Windows printer should be similar to printing from notepad!

You done this;
Adding the printer session for slip printing:
- On your PC, open the Start menu and navigate to Client Access Add or Configure Session.
(Programs> IBM iSeries Access for Windows> Emulator> Start or Configure Session)- To create a printer session for use with your validation printer, click New Session.
- Select your iSeries from System Name.
- Click Specify workstation ID and assign it the name used for installing the validation printer.
- Under Type of Emulation, click Printer.
- Click OK.
- Be sure to save the session

IBM i access I dont have this in my pc. Can I download ? Or I need to update windows from Windows update?
It sounds like you copied and pasted that from another website with a solution for this. Itās likely that solution was for getting the printer to work with some IBM software. Given IBM make some POS hardware and software I think itās the case so can just be ignored. Your printer is from Epson, it has nothing whatsoever to do with IBM.
