Problem with adding VAT for products

In Sambapos2 I could set the VAT rate in the product properties. I am now trying to set the VAT in Sambapos4, but I cannot get it working.

When I try to add a tax template, I am not sure what to do with the “Account Transaction Type” setting. For example when I choose “Sale Transaction” I get anerror that it is used by a ticket type. What is the correct way to setup the VAT?

Should I add a transaction type for every VAT rate?

Edit: I setup the pos for takeaway (ticket creation method: create ticket)

Edit2: I think it is solved now. I added two Account transactions (unnecessarry to add one for 0 VAT), and make two VAT templates for 6 and 21% VAT

It would be a great feature for me to show the VAT mappings in a list (like the price list editor) for checking. The way it works now, adding a VAT mapping is easily forgotten, causing strange results in the finacial report.

I tried to add a VAT transactiontype. I added a VAT temple with this type. We have three different VAT rates 0,6 and 21%. This template was for 0%. After that I tried to map products to this VAT template. This resulted in an error:

Which Transaction Type did you select for the 0% Template? You previously mentioned you had not created one.

Each Tax Rate should have it’s own Account and Transaction Type, and should be set as below (“Sales T1” is a Tax Account for my T1 tax):

I saw the wiki, but ignored it because I thought it was only for Sambapos3. I must get used to the new logic of Sambapos.
