Pure White Screen Showcases SambaPOS Display Issues

Hi everyone,

Pure white background full screen have been an best and recommendable tool in identifying display issues while troubleshooting my SambaPOS setup. After logging into SambaPOS, the interface occasionally goes completely white with a flash, leaving me unable to access any menus or features.

Using this white background full screen method, I confirmed that the display itself was functioning properly, which helped me determine that the problem lies within the SambaPOS application.

This issue has become more frequent since updating to SambaPOS V5.3.6, and it’s impacting my ability to manage business operations efficiently. The problem appears randomly, and the only way to recover is by restarting the application, which is far from ideal during peak hours.

I’m running SambaPOS on a Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) system with SQL Server 2019 as the database.

Has anyone else experienced similar screen flash issues? Any Suggestions?

Hi, welcome to the community. Why do you not update to the latest version 5.7.14 and see if that resolves your problem?

This post is suspicious, however if it is a true post then check that your connection to SQL server is strong. Sometimes if SambaPOS cant connect to SQL server during some operations windows may have the application not responding error and ive seen that flash the screen white.
