Question regarding Inventory UNITS and DEFAULT COST

whats the lowest ml you sell it in? usually 25 or 35 ml measures? can you not set that as your default cost?

In Bulgaria we are selling 50 and 100 ml. Iā€™m also using the alcohol for coctails, so I canā€™t set it like 1 piece of something.

so if you sell 50 and 100 i assume you use either 50 or 100 in cocktails?

No in coctkails it depends, 5ā€¦sometimes 10 or 20.

Do not worry about setting a base unit costā€¦ instead let the unit you buy it at dictate this. Do not set a default cost. When you do your purchase it will calculate the cost automatically based on what you paid for it and units purchased.

Set a default cost for the units you purchase at instead.

I know you do not purchase alcohol by 1ml units.

HI can you please show us your setup ?

What do you mean? What setup are you interested in seeing?

Yes, Iā€™m buying it by L. So you said not to put default cost in the inventory and the system will automatically calculate the cost price after I made a transaction of the unit? That was very useful information, Iā€™m going the check it right now.

Yes its designed this way because most people donā€™t pay same price every purchase it usually fluctuates.

Default cost is there if you have something that you KNOW wont change price and it makes it so you donā€™t have to enter price on purchase.

I prefer to just enter my purchase price and let sambapos calculate ny cost.

Hello,

Can you advise me with something ?

If I will have beer on draught, how can I manage the Inventory ? To use Litres, or barrel ?

Thanks.

Base Unit: what you sell to customers (glass of draught)

Transaction Unit: what you buy from suppliers (barrel of draught)

Multiplier: number of Base Units in a Transaction Unit (20 glasses of draught per barrel)

Additional Units: generally a larger Transaction Unit (pallet of 9 barrels)
