Receipt doesnt print £ sign instead it has been substituted with ae

Cant remember what else i did, it was specific to an error on my laptop i think

Have you checked windows regional settings?

I had the exact same problem one week ago. I removed the pound sign from the template, printed a receipt then restarted sambapos. Added the £ sign back and saved it. Restarted again. Then it worked fine.

EDIT: If it helps, my printer was an Epson TM88IV
