Refund issue help

Hi Guys,

Once again I don’t undertand what is going wrong? lol I’m getting better I think tho.

I currently have a refund button on my system that when clicked creates a refunded order. I use the following to do this.

[={TOTAL AMOUNT}*-1]

I use this on the UPDATE ORDER ACTION in the price box.

This works perfectly fine for all items that have a defined price. However if I use this on an item that’s price is created from using order tags it just takes the price to - and wont do a refund.

Am I using the wrong command?

I have read through this and unfortunately this does not have any info relating to my question which is why doesnt the formula work for items that have their price decided by using Order Tags.

But its a great article to use as a starting block thanks for your reply.

You must untag the order first there is automation for that

if I untag the order will it not reset the price?

My refund works fine with tags. I make qty negative…
