We are having an issue with V5 pro license, every time samba closes and we reopen it, it shows that we have an invalid license as shown in the attachment, I have tried to clear license and activate it afresh, checked SQL Server in service - and contacted support but we still have to re enter activation every time we restart Samba Pos. Anyone with a solution will be appreciated. We have a server and 2 terminals and they all behave the same.
Hi! I’m having a similar issue, I have 5.7.22 sambapos installed. For a long time it was all working propertly but today after a restart sambapos show as unregistered trial. I have follow all steps for licensing in your website that did work before but Im always getting unregister trial. I tried clear key on the website and I also tried Veysel solution but still got unregistered trial all the time. Please help me since I can not use the software like that. Thanks in advance.
Is it possible that the Message Server has been installed on more than one computer?
Please check the Services section to ensure that the Message Server is not running on multiple machines.
If the issue persists, you can send your AnyDesk address along with a description of the problem to support@sambapos.com Our support team will assist you.
Hi @Veysel i tried your solution but once the machines are turned off then turned on the error pops up again but now that you mentioned the message server not supposed to run on the other terminals is exactly what I did, I didn’t know it supposed to be on the Server only. once it is installed on the terminals it also prompts Message Server Connection Error even though you have already installed message server on the Server. Will try that
Message Server is installed just on the main computer and I also tried running the license program as administrator but still sambapos show as unregistered trial. I will send my AnyDesk address along with a description of the problem to support@sambapos.com. Thanks for your help!
There is indeed an issue with 5.7.22 version, when the device experiences unexpected shutdown.
Not sure if its related - I noticed that SambPOS loads the SambaSettings.txt file multiple times through its use and writes in it. It also writes in it when the app is closed. And when it shuts down unexpectedly it fails to write in it and clears it.
Causing the default no database connected screen to appear.
Its not a good user experience having to re-activate license every time it unexpectedly powers off. UPS is just a work around, it shouldnt be a solution. UPSs fail too.
We connected to your system and noticed that you have been using the username instead of a license email address. Once we corrected this part the licensing process was successful.
Hi. I cannot activate my license after upgrade to 5.7.24. I cannot login with my email. It always gives me Email/Password error if I try to use my email. I can only login using my username. I triple checked that both my email and password are correct. Please help.
