install SQL server 2019 instaed of 2017

2.1.3.a. SQL Express Server Setup – SambaPOS Knowledgebase

It says it doesnt have permission. This looks like your account you used to install it with does not have permission to write the file it needs.

I know what issue is… its a bug with 2017 localdb. Please install the latest service pack for sql express 2017 then try.

KB5013756 - Cumulative Update 30 for SQL Server 2017 (microsoft.com)

Thank You Jesse.
This solved the problem.

I am facing one more issue. No matter how I try to filter inventory reports day-wise or month-wise it doesn’t work. It always shows the total inventory report from the first day to the last day. I am attaching some screenshots for your reference. Is there any way to filter inventory report date wise?

Thats not your consumption that is total inventory. It looks like you are not doing any inventory purchases.

That report is to show your total inventory levels not how much you sold…

It looks like you never did any inventory purchases because it just keeps going into negative.

Yes, I never added purchases.
Is there any way to see date-wise inventory?

What do you mean date wise inventory. Do you mean consumption?

Yes I want daily consumption report.

Please look at kb.sambapos.com and the reports section.

Ok, Thank you.
I will do that.
Is there any way to print end-of-day records?

Check the report section on Consumption

9.1.4. Custom Reporting Tags for V5 – SambaPOS Knowledgebase

You can create this report and print/export it.
