SambaPOS and Metrik app need internet for using or not?

Hello everyone i have a question related to SambaPOS and Metrik app. when we install Sambapos on computer and we using metrik app so the computer and metrik app need the internet to access or not ? thanks!

The computer running SambaPOS Connect will need access to the internet to upload sales data. The metriK app needs internet access to connect to the data and display sales information.

Yes you have to have internet.
