SambaPOS Crashed when trying to do ticket tag or state after ticket paid

Version 4 V4 Issue
1

It was working until the end of rule crash after that. I can see Show Message action.
This happen when ticket mark as closed I think (happen after ticket has paid)

can you show the whole rule please. We need to know what event it was triggered.

I thought it was Display Ticket Action be cause I can see Show messsage. But it doesn’t matter I put 0, [:TicketId] or remove it. I will crashed.

Can you please show the whole rule… What event is the rule using? What kind of action is Delivery Payout?

Rule was fired by Automation command button.
It is working just fine if I don’t settle it before I click Delivery Payout button.
It was delivery order so, most of them are pay first. But I want to keep track on how much delivery and tip was paid.

The error seems to indicate a crash on Ticket.Recalculate(), and indicates that it cannot locate something given the supplied information (no matching element).

Are you certain Display Ticket is the offending Action? That is the first part of troubleshooting this… remove Actions (or constrain them so they don’t fire) until the crash no longer happens.

Hi @QMcKay,
I don’t think is something wrong with the rule or display ticket, actually Account transaction document was create and display ticket up date ticket tag (on screen) but it can’t save and crash. I think maybe something in Before ticket closing and Ticket closing rule that causing this when I try to make changes to paid ticket.

Perhaps it is because the Action for Re-open Settled Ticket requires you to Settle the Ticket again? You may not be permitted to simply Close the Ticket or Mark Ticket as Closed…

Only if payment is reset. It needs mark as closed or it throws it through ticket closing rules again. I think it has to do with the recent change on constraint checking and how its not checking actions in order now. Its checking all instead of one by one.

There doesn’t appear to be any constraints in his Rule. Which Rule do you believe has the issue? If it is one of the default Rules then this would be a major break.

What I mean is he has a tag with a question toggle for entry and then he is accessing that tag in same rule which is checking a command.
He should probably separate that.

EDIT: hmm… now I’m not sure I buy it. @sukasem, if you put a message between each action, are the values set by the previous action showing properly in the message that follows?

Is [:TicketId] or {TICKET ID} available? Display them in a message before trying to display or close the ticket…

Ok, just tested, {TICKET ID} is available after Re-open Ticket, but [:TicketId] is not. Recall too that {TICKET ID} is not the same as {TICKET NO}… you do not want {TICKET NO} in this case.

[:TicketID] is not available (null) in some casewhen I try print last receipt. I think it was null after ticket mark as closed. I have to use {TICKET ID}

Bottom line; I even remove Delivery Payout and Display Ticket it still crashed. So nothing to do what Ticket ID

I’m trying to disable all Before ticket closing and ticket closing rule and see what happens. I will report back

This works so far with no issue…

I then click Close Ticket, and still no problem.

Don’t know what is going on here, All Before Ticket Closing Rules and Ticket Closing Rules are disabled. But still crash.

Probably, @Jesse is right but WHY only when ticket is paid?

I have automation button for Delivery Payout which trigger Ask Question (Delivery Payout Ask) the execute Delivery Payout Apply which posted earlier

Its probably the account transaction. I don’t think It really has anything to do with it being paid or not. I think its the transaction being made before ticket close. Move that to after mark as closed maybe?

I did remove Delivery Payout action too.

Hmm… Actually I have button Change Payment Type which is contain action: Re-Open Closed Ticket->Cancel Payment-> Change Ticket State which is work fine.

So, I have to cancel payment and click delivery payout and it works then settle it again
