I followed the KB guide for setting up gift cards/certificates but I am having difficulty modifying the creation method to my requirements. https://kb.sambapos.com/en/4-31-gift-certificates-sales-and-redemption-implementation/

I would like to add gift cards that have unique barcodes printed on them already. Whenever the Gift Card product is selected the following happens.

  1. Prompt for the following information:
    i. Gift Card Amount
    ii. Gift Card Barcode Number (we will scan the barcode)
    iii. Gift Card Note (optional field)

  2. Set to the Gift Card Account Balance to the Gift Card Amount that was entered in the prompt

  3. Add the Date to the Gift Card Account

  4. Add the username that created the Gift Card to the Gift Card Account
